Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Paraguayan Sanitary Services Company (ESSAP) details the steps that users must follow in the event that their water meter is stolen. Here we explain the actions to take to avoid interruptions in service and possible sanctions.

1. Call 021 162 immediately: This is the ESSAP telephone number where you can report the theft. The company will make a temporary connection to avoid service interruption at home.

2. File a complaint at the nearest police station: It is essential to file a police report as soon as possible. Affected users must ensure that they specify their cadastral current account and ISSAN in the report.

3. Bring the complaint to the Public Service Center (CAP): You have a period of three days following the theft to file the complaint at the ESSAP CAP. This will prevent the company from intervening in the account affected by irregular connection.

4. Contact the Customer Service Center for more information: If you have any questions or need more information, please visit the ESSAP CAP.
