The National Student Esports League will be held again for the 2024 edition. The Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PBESI) uses this tournament as a continuous search space for young talents since 2022.

This year’s national student league will be held in Surabaya, East Java, on November 16, featuring Mobile Legend Bang Bang (MLBB). In addition to prizes worth 100 million, scholarships worth Rp3.4 billion are also prepared.

“The National Student Esports League, which has been running since 2022, has always developed every year. This is part of PBESI’s strategy to get Esports talents who will defend Indonesia,” said PBESI’s Head of Public Relations and Communications, Debora Imanuella, in Jakarta, Saturday (3/8).

This student level league, he added, is very crucial because it is part of tiered coaching. The emerging talents are expected to continue to develop and be able to represent Indonesia in international tournaments.

On the same occasion, Head of Garudaku Academy Robert Aditya added that the competition provides an opportunity for students to hone themselves at the national level.

He added that the national student league event is held routinely as a means for students to pursue esports. Even so, the educational aspect is also prioritized. (I-2)
