A particularly important event on the occasion of the completion of 50 years since the Turkish invasion and occupation of the martyred Cyprus, will be held in Patras on Thursday, March 21, at 6.30 pm, in the event hall of ESIEPIN (Maison 200).
The event is co-organized by ESIEPIN, the Cyprus 1974 Fighters Association of Achaia Prefecture “Enotita” and the Achaia – Cyprus Association “Achaia Akti”.
The event is a trek in Morphou and the occupied areas of the Nicosia District.
The event will be greeted by: Kyriakos Kortesis, president of ESIEPIN, Spyros Diamantopoulos, Mayor of the Holy City of Messolonghi, Giorgos Vourliokas, secretary general of the Association of Cypriot 1974 Fighters of the Prefecture of Achaia, Anastasios Stasis, president of the Association of Achaia – Cyprus “Achaion Akti”.
Speakers will be: Lefteris Antoniou, president of the Occupied Communities of Nicosia, Victor Hatziavraam, Mayor of Morphou, Symeon Charalambous, president of the Union of Cypriots “CYPROS 74”.
The editor of the event is Kostas Theodoropoulos, journalist, general secretary of the TEAS of ESIEPIN.
The coordinator will be Thanasis Babanevas, journalist, president of the TEAS of ESIEPIN.
