Professor Venancio Matheus, director of the Club de Caminantes de Escuque, an organization that works mostly with adults and the elderly, is inviting all the members of this ecological group that promotes physical and mental health, to attend this Thursday Santo to the so-called “Visit to the seven temples”, a religious and recreational event whose purpose is to make a tour of seven Catholic centers in the Valera and Escuque municipalities.
Call from seven in the morning
Adds Matheus, that with this event “special worship is paid to the life and passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, in addition to honoring Holy Week with our significant presence on this special date for all.”
He recalled that the walk by Arturo as from the San Juan Bautista temple, the so-called “Valera Cathedral” from seven in the morning on Holy Thursday and traveled to Lazo de la Vega, La Ciénaga, Las Mercedes, Simon Bolivar with passage through the San Juan Bosco temple in es La Floresta, intermediate points and arrival at the Santo Niño Jesús de Escuque church.
There is free participation and it is recommended to wear light or sports clothing, rubber shoes, water and hydration, in addition to your medicines if you are taking it. The initial concentration will be in the grounds of Plaza Bolívar in Valera.
