CNN reported that a Boeing 747 flight from New York, USA to Liege, Belgium, was forced to turn back to New York’s Kennedy Airport because a horse in the container tried to escape.

The pilot also requested that a veterinarian be present upon landing to help move other horses and free the trapped horse. After the plane landed, the veterinarian determined that the trapped horse’s injuries were too serious and decided to euthanize it.
