Escaped bull injured 3 Styrian farmers

The animal broke through two electric fences around midday and got onto the neighboring property, where another bull, cow and calf were located. When the 25-year-old owner of the escaped bull and his two neighbors tried to drive him back, he pushed all three to the ground, the Styrian State Police Directorate said on Sunday.

By emergency helicopter to the hospital

First, the family doctor treated the three injured people. The 25-year-old was then flown to Klagenfurt Hospital in the C99 emergency helicopter. The 71-year-old neighbor had to be taken to Kalwang Hospital and his 64-year-old wife to the hospital in Friesach.

Bulls got into fight

The two bulls got into a fight, and the escaped animal fell over a several-meter-high water barrier into a stream bed and was left injured. After consulting the owner, the bull was shot by a hunter.
