The authorities reported on the morning of this Tuesday, August 9, that several prisoners escaped from the Santa Fe Police Stationlocated in the La Macarena neighborhood, downtown Bogota.
The first reports as detailed by Noticias Caracolpoint out that some of the inmates left spouses and others, wounded. The general Eliecer Camachopolice commander Bogotaconfirmed minutes later to the aforementioned medium that 15 people are escapedwhile 11 were already recaptured.

At this time a ‘falcon’ helicopter of the Police is touring the center of the capital to be able to identify and capture inmates. Simultaneously, a meeting is held at the station to clarify which prisoners may have been injured.
