For him, who provides a large part of the practice around North Jutland’s strongest football team, is leaving the club.

AaB‘s team manager, 66-year-old Ernst Damborg, has decided to retire after a total of 27 years at the club.

– I have had a fantastic time in AaB with countless experiences that I will never forget. Of course, 26 years and nine months also means that I have been lucky to work with a lot of good people, and I will miss them in everyday life, but on the other hand, I know that it is the right time for me to stop now, says Ernst Damborg.

Who since 1 March 2009 has taken on the role of team manager around AaB’s first team, after nine years before he was employed as an inspector at the parent club AaB of 1885.

On his way out the door, he receives warm words from AaB’s managing director Michael Tuxen Boll:

– Long before my time, Ernst Damborg has delivered a formidable effort for AaB, where he has contributed to the fact that things around the team have always been in order, and on behalf of the club he should have a huge thank you for that, and Ernst is wanted from our page all the best in his new life.

In connection with the home match against Vejle Boldklub on November 3, Ernst Damborg will be praised for his efforts for AaB.
