Ernest Muci moved from Legia Warszawa to Besiktas

Update: Friday, February 9 (18:08)Albanian Ernest Muci moved from Legia to Turkish Besiktas. Fernando Santos, former coach of the Polish national team, has been the coach of this team for a month. Legia is expected to earn approximately EUR 10 million from the transfer.

Ernest Muci signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Besiktas.
“Besiktas informs that negotiations have begun regarding the transfer of footballer Ernest Muci,” it was first reported on Friday on the local club’s website.
Shortly followingwards, the Turks announced that the Albanian would arrive in Istanbul on Friday followingnoon. There was a photo of Muci on board the plane wearing a scarf in Besiktas colors.
After hours 15 Polish time, further news was added to X’s profile: “Our new transfer is already in Istanbul.” Soon, Muci signed a contract with the club.
The media had already reported that Legia might receive a record amount for the Polish top league, up to EUR 10 million.
22-year-old Muci, who performs, among others, as an attacking midfielder, he has played seven matches for the Albanian national team so far (two goals).
He has been playing for Legia since February 2021, and in the current season he is one of its leading players. He distinguished himself in the Conference League competition – he scored, among others: two goals in a 3-2 win in Warsaw once morest Aston Villa FC in September.
