Manchester: Ajax’s Dutch coach Eric Tenhag might be Manchester United’s next coach. According to media reports, including ESPN, Tenhag will take over as current interim coach Ralph Rannick at the end of the season.
At the end of an interview a month ago, Eric Tenhague was on the club’s shortlist. PSG coach Pochettino, Spain coach Luis Enrique, Sevilla’s Lopetegui, Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel and Bayern Munich’s Julian Nugelszmann have all been considered, but the club have decided to appoint Eric Tenhag. Renനെ Mളllenstein, who was assistant coach with Alex Ferguson from 2007 to 2013, may join Eric Tenhag as co-coach.
Manchester United, who have been knocked out of the Champions League, have also been showing disappointing performances at home in recent tournaments. United are currently seventh in the Premier League. Ralph Ranknick was appointed interim coach when Ole Soulshire was sacked. Ranknick arrived in United from Moscow, a locomotive. Ralph Ranknick has become United’s seventh coach since the departure of legendary coach Alex Ferguson in 2013.
