BUMN Minister Erick Thohir revealed what BUMN must do in the era of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration. Erick Thohir explained this when attending a town hall meeting of the Ministry of BUMN last week.

Via his Instagram, Erick said that five years ago BUMN focused on transformation. This transformation resulted in the largest dividend payment in history.

“Five years ago, BUMN focused on massive transformation. One of the results was the largest dividend contribution in history,” wrote Erick, quoted on Wednesday (30/10/2024).

Erick said that BUMN would work even harder in the next 5 years. This is to realize Prabowo’s vision, especially to pursue the target of food self-sufficiency and realize a green economy.

“However, we are not complacent. In the next five years, BUMN will work even harder to realize President Prabowo Subianto’s vision, especially achieving the target of food self-sufficiency, encouraging energy security and creating a green economy,” he said.

In the uploaded video clip, Erick asked BUMN not to be surprised. He said that BUMN would work harder according to Prabowo’s directions in his speech.

“Don’t be surprised if later in the government today led by Pak Prabowo we will of course be expected to do even more extra work, in accordance with the speech talking about food self-sufficiency, not to mention energy solutions, which we are pushing forward ESG, one of which is the green economy,” he said Erick.
