Éric Duhaime will take part in the leaders’ debate on Radio-Canada

The debate, hosted by Patrice Roy, will be broadcast on September 22 at 8 p.m. on ICI TÉLÉ, ICI RDI, ICI PREMIÈRE and on Télé-Québec. In particular, citizens will have the opportunity to ask questions of the chiefs.

The public broadcaster confirms by email that it sent an official invitation on Tuesday morning to the leaders of the five main political parties to participate in this traditional televised debate as well as in the special program Five chiefs, an election. During this program, which will be broadcast on September 4, the chefs will be interviewed in turn by hosts Anne-Marie Dussault, Céline Galipeau and Patrice Roy.

The Crown corporation explains its decision by current political context and [les] trends observed in the electorate in recent months.

This participation, a first for the Conservative Party of Quebec, was one of Éric Duhaime’s main objectives when he entered politics. He considers it to be a platform of choice for presenting the ideas of the Party to the electorate.

In the eyes of Éric Duhaime, the Conservative Party of Quebec is no longer a third party.
