Another two defendants from the side of ERGOSE were released following their apologies to the Greek European Investigator Christina Salappa for contract 717 concerning the signaling and remote control of the railway network, a matter that is being examined following the accident in Tempi.
Specifically, with the consent of the investigator and the prosecution, they were released following the explanations for the 717 contract, with the condition of paying a guarantee of 800,000 euros and 900,000 euros, while in addition they were also imposed the restrictive condition of not leaving the country.
So far, a total of 5 defendants have been acquitted for this serious case, and the bails imposed on them reach the amount of 3,500,000 euros.
Now, they still have to apologize. 21 defendants on the part of ERGOSE, the Consortium that had undertaken the execution of the disputed contract and the Hellenic Administrative Authority of the Operational Program for Transport Infrastructure, Environment and Sustainable Development.
