Erdogan: We know how to break the dirty hands that reach the Turkish flag

Turkey – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed in a speech on Tuesday evening after the end of the Turkish government meeting that Ankara knows how to break the dirty hands that reach our country’s flag.

The Turkish President added that they also know how to break those hands that reach out to the oppressed refugees in our country.

The Turkish President stressed that they will continue to ensure the security of Turkey and its people as long as there are bloodthirsty criminals in Syria who point their weapons at our country.

Erdogan said that due to a heinous incident in Kayseri, some conspiracies are being hatched against Türkiye.

He stated: “We know very well who plotted the conspiracy that was arranged with the remnants of the separatist terrorist organization, referring to the Kurdish People’s Protection Units, which Ankara says is the Syrian extension of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party.”

He continued, saying: “Neither we, nor our people, nor our Syrian brothers, will fall into this malicious trap.”

The Turkish President explained that public order is a red line for the Turkish state and there is no tolerance for anyone who crosses this line or violates it under any pretext.

He pointed out in the context that the competent authorities arrested 474 people who participated in the riots in Kayseri.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that the Turkish presence in northern Syria ensures that no state or terrorist corridor will be established on our borders.

Erdogan stressed that he would not allow anyone to harm those who sought refuge in Türkiye and sought its protection.

He said that any Syrian who wants to return voluntarily will be returned to his country, noting that Ankara needs peace, diplomacy and dialogue with neighboring countries.

Turkish media reported that groups of men targeted shops and properties owned by Syrians in Kayseri, central Turkey, on Sunday evening, following allegations that a young Syrian man had harassed a minor.

Turkey stressed that provocative attempts to destabilize it “will not achieve their goal,” while announcing ongoing investigations into posts inciting hatred and against refugees.

Turkish political circles considered that the events in the city of Kayseri in the center of the country do not directly affect Turkey, explaining that parties that reject normalization between Damascus and Ankara and do not want to resolve the Syrian crisis are behind the events.
