Erdogan: Israel turned Gaza Strip into “Nazi genocide camps” and exterminated more than two million people

“In my speech to the UN General Assembly, I will address the joint steps that can be taken against the genocide in Gaza and Israel’s aggressive policies,” Erdogan told reporters before heading to the United States, where he will participate in a session of the UN General Assembly.

He added: “I will focus on the need to reform the global governance mechanism, especially the UN Security Council and the international financial architecture.”

He stressed that: “Netanyahu and his network resort to all kinds of provocation and incitement to implement their extremist Zionist ideology. The recent attacks on Lebanon showed that we are right in our concerns about the Israeli government’s plans to spread war in the region.”

He continued: “Unfortunately, Israel has once again carried out attacks as a terrorist organization and not as a state, by bombing communication devices in Lebanon. Through these attacks, Israel has proven that it does not care about the lives of civilians, and seeks to achieve its hateful goals by all means.”

Erdogan pointed out that the international community, especially Western countries, must stop watching Israel’s criminal acts and take deterrent steps.

He added: “I will discuss stopping the bloodshed in the Palestinian territories, especially in Gaza, with all the leaders I will meet at the United Nations.”

Erdogan concluded: “There will be a large number of leaders at the UN meetings, not just President Biden, and it is not certain yet whether I will meet him on the sidelines of the meetings or not.”
