Referring to voltage escalation on the line Turkey-Greece for the militarization of the Aegean islands, Erdogan said:

Greece also sent notice to more than half of them saying ‘don’t get involved’. Almost all of them did not listen to Greece. All of them, especially the United States, participated in that exercise with us.”

Emphasizing that Turkey has once once more shown the world its resolute stance in the Aegean thanks to the Financial year Efes 2022 successfully completed, the president added:

“Fortunately, this successful exercise was a very beneficial step in providing the necessary response. From now on he will go like this with firm steps with determination. Everyone will see what this nation is and what it can do, as they saw in yesterday’s exercise.”
