For Ercan Kara, the 2022 season in Major League Soccer is not over yet!
The Florida team defeated Columbus Crew 2-1 late on the final day of the regular season to make the playoffs as the seventh and last team in the Eastern Conference.
Ercan Kara starts at Orlando but fails to score this time. Instead, like Columbus, he sees through after 38 minutes Derick Etienne takes the lead and Junior Urso equalizes the game after 56 minutes. After 74 minutes, Kara is substituted.
The 26-year-old can get away from the bench with a late penalty from Facundo Torres happy (84th), who thus promoted Orlando into the post-season. There, the team from Florida will face Eastern Conference runners-up Montreal FC next weekend.

The “Red Bulls” had already been confirmed as playoff participants, but with the win they secured home advantage in the first round. Struber and his team meet FC Cincinnati next weekend.
