The spokesperson of the Balochistan government said that Pakistan will not allow our Afghan brothers, whom we have respected for many decades, to commit acts of anti-nationalism and terrorism, or to harm the country and the nation.
He said that terrorists also come to the country along with those who come to the country illegally, but we have no objection to those who come to the country legally with a visa. The end of the arrivals is now inevitable.
He said that since January 2023, there have been 24 suicide attacks in the country, 14 of which were allegedly committed by Afghans. He said that at present the total number of Afghan refugees in Balochistan is 584 thousand, of them about 313 thousand are known as POR or registered Afghan refugees, 274 thousand of them are Afghan citizens are known as ACC holders or Citizen Card holders.
The Provincial Minister of Information said that in the future, all Afghan citizens without visas will be deported. The Balochistan government will implement all the decisions made in the meeting of the Federal Apex Committee led by the Army Chief. He said that after 27 days, action will be taken in the province as per the decision of the apex committee, like the whole country, whatever properties and businesses they have will be confiscated, and those who work illegally with them will be arrested. will also be identified through intelligence and strict action will be taken against them.
He said that apart from this, all the decisions made by the federal government will be followed and implemented, and especially those who are doing electricity theft, smuggling, reference handi business, more attention will be given to it and the action will be taken. Will be accelerated.
John Achakzai said that an important meeting of the Apex Committee is going to be held in Balochistan, in which we will share the measures in this regard, but it is decided that the state of Pakistan has to manage its borders according to modern methods, the Tazkira system. Going forward, no Afghan or Pakistani citizen will be able to cross the border without a visa passport, it is necessary that this system be implemented soon to overcome the complaints we have regarding terrorism.
