This Monday, Equatorial Guinea defeated Liberia (1-0) to win its second match in as many days in these 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Like last week in Malabo once morest Namibia (1-0), just one small goal was enough for Nzalang Nacional to be happy. And as in the last match, it was captain Emilio Nsue who scored it in the 9th minute. Outnumbered following the expulsion of Kenneh before half-time (45th+1), the Lone Stars were unable to pick up the score.
