CAGLIARI, 4 OCTOBER 2024 – The Regional Councilor for Health, Armando Bartolazzi specifies that on 04.10.2024 he had scheduled a technical visit at the oncology department of the Businco hospital, during which a private visit to the patients present in the facility was also planned. Having received news of the simultaneous convening of a union meeting at the Brotzu Hospital to which he had never been formally invited, he nevertheless said he was available to attend to greet the meeting, in order to represent his personal commitment and those of the offices there. of the Department on the dossier under discussion. Unfortunately, institutional commitments that arose prevented the visit of the Councillor, who however did not fail to convey his availability to the trade union parties for a subsequent meeting, which was then scheduled for 18 October. The Councilor specifies that the critical issues represented by the doctors and the sector are well founded and that the issue of salary equalization has already been under study by the Health Department for several weeks, so much so that the preliminary calculations have already been carried out and will be presented to the parties in the meeting on 18 October. In light of what has been represented, it is regrettable that today’s missed meeting was highlighted more than the availability always shown by the institutional side. Councilor Bartolazzi therefore intends to reassure the doctors and staff of the sector of his commitment to starting a process to resolve the dispute quickly.
