The incident happened at about 2 am in the Silver Jubilee Garden, No. 2-18, Lok King Street, Fo Tan. A 34-year-old man surnamed Liang collapsed in the unit. His mother immediately called the police after finding out. Police arrived at the scene and took the male victim to the Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately he died.

It is understood that the male director is a civil engineer who suffers from thyroid disease and needs to take medicine regularly. He has been vaccinated with three doses of Fubitai vaccine, but the rapid test result was positive on the 2nd of this month, so he decided to rent a hotel to avoid infecting his family. As of yesterday, the male victim’s rapid test was negative, so he decided to return to his residence. However, at about 2 am today, the male victim complained of neck pain, vomiting and difficulty breathing.

The male victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance and was confirmed dead after rescue. Later, the Prince of Wales Hospital conducted a rapid test on the deceased, and the result showed that it was positive. The cause of death is pending an autopsy report. The case was handed over to the Sha Tin Miscellaneous Investigation Team for follow-up.
