Tribute to Nintendo 64

Time passes and the free games continue to parade one following the other, week following week, such is the Thursday ritual on the Epic Games Store. Today is no exception to the rule and it’s the turn of a big name in the FPS, having widely popularized the genre of first-person shooter, which is appearing in the free games section: Doom 64.

Originally released in December 1997 on Nintendo 64, it is obviously not this basic version but reissued port by the American studio, Nightdive Studios, which was born in March 2020 on the occasion of the release of Doom Eternal. Embarking on a new chapter, the game served as a pre-order bonus first before being offered for sale. But no question of putting your hand in the wallet this time since you will be able to recover a free version on the Epic Games store.

Threat to the Red Planet

The creatures of Hell are back… If you feel ready to return to duty as a Space Marine on the red planet, otherwise known as Mars, to hunt down a secret entity and its demons in order to put an end to a new invasion, then it is by ici let it happen!

Once on the game page, if Doom 64 is usually displayed at the price of 4.99€, this time you will be able to get it for free, without any prior conditions other than having an Epic Games account. Finally, the only limit remains that of time since the game will be available until next Thursday, August 25 at 5 p.m.. On the other hand, once the game is added to your library, it is definitely up to you to play it when and how you want!
