Epic Games announced on its official Twitter that due to Russia’s “special military operation” in Ukraine, it is suspending product sales in Russia.
The company added that it will not stop access for gamers from Russia for the same reason it does not block communication tools – to keep the lines of dialogue open.
Epic is stopping commerce with Russia in our games in response to its invasion of Ukraine. We’re not blocking access for the same reason other communication tools remain online: the free world should keep all lines of dialogue open.

As with other companies, there is no expiration date for this restriction. There is a possibility that some services will resume work next week, but a lot depends on whether companies can make transfers without problems. This week it became known that some gamers from Russia began to lose some games from the library, in particular Elden Ring, even if the game has already been completed. This is due to the inability to carry out financial transactions.
