Demonstrations, conferences, shows, visits to labs, stands and games: in total, visitors were able to participate in 200 activities, spread over the two days, EPFL said in a press release on Sunday. To welcome them, some 1,500 employees, researchers and students.
The institutions with which EPFL collaborates were also represented, notably EMPA, ECAL, UNIL and also Photo Elysée.
The high school specifies that the influx was measured both by the security services and counting mats developed by a start-up of the school. It turned out to be similar to the previous editions of 2016 and 2019.

Sorcerer’s spirit… and sporty!
Frédéric Courant, former friend of Jamy in the program C’est Pas Sorcier, was a special guest of these open doors. The host of his new science popularization program, L’Esprit Sorcier, came to give several conferences on Sunday, intended for children and adolescents.
Furthermore, among the many activities offered during the weekend, EPFL has notably organized an introduction to urban sports. There were initiations in skateboarding, dancing and even parkour, something to delight all audiences.
