The Haapsalu City Government announces the publication of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) program for the building permit application for the activities planned with the reconstruction of the southern basin of the Rohuküla port.
This EIA program has been prepared for the reconstruction of facilities planned with building permit application No. 2311271/07298. The Haapsalu City Government initiated the reconstruction of the port facility in the southern basin of Rohuküla harbor with its EIA order of 04.10.2023 No. 910
AS Saarte liinis (registry code 10216057 is planning the reconstruction of the complex of protective structures (Läänemuul, Lõunamuul and Ristmuul) of the southern basin of Rohuküla harbor in the town of Haapsalu in Lääne County, Rohuküla, Rohuküla harbor on land unit 1 (cadastre ID 67401:001:0738, registry part no. 862832, area 6.84 ha). Project purpose is to reconstruct the protection facilities of the southern basin of Rohuküla port, which protect the ferries leaving from there and going there (site plan attached). The demolition of non-restorable piers is planned, and the project provides the general constructive solution of the building and the location of the facilities in the water area.

Everyone has the right to submit written proposals, objections and questions about the EIA program at the public exhibition until 28.08.2024 (also) through the contacts of the decision-maker.
The public discussion of the EIA program will take place on 29.08.2024 at 15:00, second floor of Rohuküla port building (Rohuküla, Haapsalu city, 90441, Lääne county).
