Environmental activists vandalize a Tesla showroom

Activists opposing the Gigafactory Berlin vandalized a Tesla showroom. This one is located in the German capital and has received spray paint.

As during the construction of the Gigafactory Berlin, Tesla is the target of environmental defenders. The arrival of the electric car factory in Germany had outraged for its water consumption and the deforestation it caused.

This is also why the brand promised that it would not make the same mistake with its future Mexican Gigafactory. But in Germany, the rumble continues, and it is the Berlin showroom of the firm of Elon Musk which has paid the price.

Posters have been pasted on the walls, including one with the slogan “Driving for a Dead Planet”. The brand logo has also received paint, which represents no lasting degradation. Activists want Germany to financially support public transport, rather than the American company.

“The repeated environmental violations by the American group during the construction and expansion of the Gigafactory in Grünheide and the theft of the precious water in our region are criminal”, the protesters said. They have also taken issue with the lithium that electric cars require.
