At Martine and José’s
In Cras-Avernas, in the province of Liège, Martine and José Lallemand have no descendants. It is a nephew of the couple who will take over the farm and the many cattle. A bio-engineer by training, Martin Delaite explains to us that he has frequented the family farm since he was very young: “There was no click. Things happened gradually in his mind. It’s not an easy job. It’s passion above all! When you get up, there’s no worry. Going to sleep is almost a punishment. We always do this with envy and even if some days are more difficult than others, we always have good weeks and we are always proud of what we have achieved. ‘we do”.
