Keen Games’ new sandbox survival RPG “Enshrouded ~Kingdom of Mist~” recently achieved its long-awaited early access launch and received its first major update, but with expectations for future improvements, new content, and expansion. Keen Games has launched a new Steam page.renewHowever, it has been revealed that improvements to the quest progression system are planned soon.
This improvement improves the server-side quest system, which can feel like it detracts from the experience for players who can’t join offline when going on a quest in a group. In an effort to make the game more diverse and meaningful (so players can focus on farming and other players can feel free to go on adventures), they are exploring the following changes:
- Provides option to complete all quests individually
- Improved the quest log to more clearly organize server progress and individual progress for each quest.
- Currently, the respawn time has been shortened to 30 minutes, so it is possible to defeat the boss again, destroy the roots of the shroud, etc.
At the moment, the progress and implementation schedule for improving quest progress is unknown, but according to Keen Games, development work has already begun for improvements, and further improvements include server management functions and NPC placement at each base.
