Enrique Márquez asks the Prosecutor’s Office to investigate CNE rectors

The former presidential candidate of the Centrados party, Enrique Márquez, announced that this Wednesday he submitted to the Public Ministry a request to criminally investigate the five rectors of the National Electoral Council (CNE) due to the lack of detailed publication of the results of the presidential elections.

We will request an investigation because they are destroying the support of the Republic, which is the vote (…) they are hiding without giving answers”; said Márquez.

He also asked the CNE to open the voting booths as a “legally valid” measure to obtain the results by table from the elections of July 28.

“The way to resolve this is there, at the ballot boxes. This is an advantage of our electoral system because we have electronic votes and physical votes of each person inside the boxes,” Márquez stressed.

He stressed that in the event of hacking, “vote by vote” must be counted in each of the voting booths that the CNE has in its position.
