Dubai: Heavy rain in many parts of UAE. People are thoroughly enjoying the rains that bid farewell to the hot season. It has been raining in most parts of the country since morning today (Thursday). The roads were waterlogged by rain. Due to this, the traffic is slow. The National Meteorological Center (NCM) has issued yellow and red alerts across the country due to overcast skies. Rain was reported in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Umm Al Quwain this morning. Rain continues in Dubai in the followingnoon.

The NCM reported that unsettled weather will continue and the sky will be partly cloudy or partly cloudy at isolated places. Expect rain tomorrow. Temperatures are expected to drop. The average temperature is expected to be in the low 30s, with a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 19 degrees Celsius. It’s 29 degrees Celsius in Dubai now with cloudy skies. Maximum humidity is expected to reach 85 percent.

Strong winds are likely to blow repeatedly. Speeds of 10-25 km per hour can sometimes reach up to 60 km per hour. Dust storms are also expected, with reduced visibility in some areas. Conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to be moderately calm and at times turbulent.
