Good news for consumers who intend to invest in Samsung’s new foldable generation: both the Galaxy Z Fold5 and the Galaxy Z Flip5 are eligible for two free years of the Galaxy Padlock, a security tool recently launched by the South Korean brand that increases protection once morest theft and data theft.

This novelty was announced this month by Samsung at an event attended by the press, including the AllCellular that covered the news and brought first-hand details. As explained by the brand, Cadeado Galaxy is a subscription service capable of fully blocking the device, preventing third parties from accessing storage and apps.

The feature allows the subscriber to block the cell phone by calling Samsung’s self-service center or through the Padado website itself. Thus, your credit cards, passwords, photos and important documents will be protected even if the phone is stolen, being possible to completely block it in less than a minute being linked to the IMEI number.

In an unprecedented promotional action, the Asian giant claims that customers who buy the new generation of foldables will have two years of the service free of charge, increasing the protection of the devices. Other models can hire Cadeado Galaxy for BRL 39.90 for one year of protection or for BRL 59.90 for a two-year license.

The Galaxy Lock is available for all Galaxy smartphones that meet the following requirements:
