More than a month since the 34-year-old actor from the cult series has been nowhere to be found following a young woman was mowed down. Between concerns and mystery, an update on what we know regarding this increasingly enigmatic affair.
Marwan Berreni, who plays Abdel Fedala in the series “Plus belle de vie”, has not given any sign of life since August 3. His vehicle is involved in a road accident. But the man has disappeared and cannot be found.

The accident: a young woman broke
Sandra, 38, was hit by a vehicle while crossing a pedestrian crossing in Mâcon in Saône-et-Loire on August 3. The thirty-year-old would not only have been mowed down but the vehicle would have run over her to leave. The driver fled without warning the emergency services. The victim was placed in intensive care for five days.
The abandoned vehicle with papers
The day following the accident, on August 4, actor Marwan Berreni’s 4X4 was found abandoned on the side of the road regarding twenty kilometers from the site of the impact. This would be the vehicle incriminated in the accident because it shows “the trace of a significant impact”, according to the Journal of Saône-et-Loire who even published the photo.
The actor’s papers, as well as a restaurant bill, were found in the passenger compartment of this Mercedes loaner vehicle that he had been using for eight months.
Actor wanted to be heard regarding accident
The police are looking for him to be questioned as a witness to the accident. In order to collect his testimony, to find out if he was the driver and to know the circumstances of the tragedy. But the man remains nowhere to be found.
“He never came home”
The police who went to his home in Fuissé on August 8 and found the house empty. One of his friends from Fuissé, who is also his neighbor, assures him Parisian : “He never came home that night. The next evening, he wasn’t at a party where he was expected either. We tried to call him, his phone was on answering machine.”
Moreover, without knowing that the police were looking for him as a witness in the accident, worried relatives began trying to find him as he was unreachable.
One last phone call and last purchase
The path to retracing the journey of Marwan Berreni does not go very far. The geolocation of his cell phone clearly shows that the man was present in a restaurant on 400 for half an hour.
The actor’s last signs of life were a last call made at 1:28 p.m. from his cell phone the day following the accident. The police have not communicated on the recipient of the call in question. And around 2 p.m. a final purchase with his credit card in a bakery was made, once more, the location of the business was not disclosed.
But following these last two signs, nothing more. The phone is turned off and no withdrawals or purchases have been made since.
Two open investigations
Despite the actor’s disappearance, the investigation into the accident continues. On August 11, a judicial investigation was opened for “unintentional injuries and hit-and-run”. Another is opened for worrying disappearance.
Is the missing actor still alive?
Those close to the actor are very worried by his disappearance. His ex-partner Marylou Salvatori, also an actress in More beautiful life spoke on Instagram saying “We are all devastated and worried”.
Beyond the trail of the escape which does not add up for his family, there are multiple hypotheses.
“Something must have happened to him,” say some of those close to him who are considering the worst. A bad encounter, a heinous crime, a carjacking that went wrong, a kidnapping with sequestration…
Another avenue considered, that of suicide, the man being described as psychologically fragile by relatives. Particularly because he never recovered from the death of his brother who was murdered in the United States.
In the meantime, speculation is rife, but the investigation has still not made it possible to find him. Hoping he gives a sign of life to put an end to this matter.
