Guatemala. Coca-Cola ABASA has taken a step forward to strengthen and streamline the health services of its employees, by inaugurating the first “Business Model Clinic” in the Northeast of the country, in collaboration with the Guatemalan Social Security Institute (IGSS), located at the production plant in Santa Cruz, Río Hondo, Zacapa.
The clinic at the service of Coca-Cola ABASA will serve more than 250 affiliates in general consultation, immunization schemes, dispatch of basic medicines, laboratory tests, disease care, prescription of x-rays and imaging studies, as well as referrals to medical units specialties, among others.
«In 2023 we continue in alliance with productive sectors of the country that seek health, social security, occupational safety and other services that we can offer them in their workplaces. With the adhesion of Coca-Cola ABASA we make our vision of an IGSS closer to you a reality”, expressed José Adolfo Flamenco Jau, president of the Board of Directors of the Guatemalan Social Security Institute (IGSS).
Among the multiple benefits, this collaboration will contribute to reducing consultation times in medical units and travel expenses, allowing faster and more effective care for its members.
