Asuncion, IP Agency.- National and motorsports authorities presented the fifth round of the Petrobras Rally National Championship, to be held in the department of Itapúa from September 20 to 21, as a prelude to what Paraguay will experience in 2025 with the World Rally Championship (WRC).
The Petrobras Rally of Paraguay is just around the corner, the event will take place in Colonias Unidas and promises a great sporting event, with lots of excitement, and where it will mark the beginning of the second half of the 2024 calendar.
In addition, the World Rally test event will take place on the red Paraguayan earth for the first time from 20 to 21 September.
The presentation of the second most important sporting event in the country was held at a press conference at the Petrobras Ñu Guasu Station, attended by representatives of the National Sports Secretariat (SND), the National Tourism Secretariat (Senatur), Rediex, which is part of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (Mitic), the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, the Paraguayan Touring and Automobile Club, and Petrobras.
All these institutions make up the working group promoted by the Government of Paraguay for the success of this mega-event.
National and motorsports authorities predicted success and highlighted the historic moment to generate enthusiasm among the Paraguayan people and described it as a golden opportunity that will yield economic benefits for the region and the country.
The Minister of Tourism, Angie Duarte; the Vice Minister of Rediex, Rodrigo Maluff; the President of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, Camilo Pérez; the President of the Paraguayan Touring and Automobile Club, Hugo Mersan Galli; and Ana Roig, Marketing and Communications Manager of Petrobras, were present.
