How to save money with your laptop?
When you use your computer, you probably plug it in a lot, even if it’s a laptop. Thus, you avoid unpleasant surprises and it suddenly turns off while you are hard at work. But it therefore consumes energy constantly, even when you are not using it. Thus, to prevent your computer from weighing on your electricity bill, it is important to know how to use it.
There is, in fact, a very simple trick to prevent your device from consuming too much energy: put it in standby mode. Indeed, we do not really think about it, but putting your computer on standby when you are away for a few minutes or a few hours can help you save a few euros on your bills. Plus, it only takes one click! Then all you have to do is relaunch it and resume your task where you left off.
If you have a laptop, we still advise you to plug it in only when it is discharged and not permanently. For stationary computers, you should unplug them when not in use to save money.
