Inflation has hit the wallets of the French hard. Suffice to say that the situation is not really getting better. Far from there. The dizzying rise in prices is not helping and some households are struggling to make ends meet. the tariff shieldestablished in 2021, was granted an extension until December 2022 for gas. As for electricity, it has been renewed for 2023. What limit the breakage. But soaring prices are not helping the finances of small businesses and ordinary citizens. Even more so for households with the lowest incomes, who have to rely on certain state aid. Already in December, the government had paid bonuses of 100 euros close to 6 million households. In this week from January 9 to 13a new wave of payments will be made, through the exceptional energy check.

Aid of 100 to 200 euros paid from January 9 to 13

The exceptional energy check has already benefited many beneficiaries in several departments. The bonus in question, paid directly into the bank accounts of those concerned, makes it possible to amortize many expenses. In particular those relating to electricity, gas, heating oil and heating fuels such as wood. This amount, from 100 to 200 euros, also covers energy renovation work. In total, regarding 12 million families will benefit. At the start of 2023, several departments will be affected by this new wave of payments. Starting with Côtes-d’Armor, Finistère and Ille-et-Vilaine. But also the departments of Ventre Val de Loire, Grand-Est, New Aquitaine, Pays de la Loire, Corsica and the overseas departments. On the other hand, not everyone will be able to benefit from this aid… We will have to answer certain criteria to be eligible.

The exceptional energy check is issued according to the reference tax income of each household. Its amount is therefore not the same, according to this reference income. It borders the 200 euros for households already beneficiaries of the energy voucherprovided that their annual reference does not exceed 10,800 euros. For people whose resources annuals are between 10,800 and 17,400the amount of this premium will be 100 euros. If you are not affected by the regions mentioned above, this does not mean that you are not eligible. You may have already benefited from this advantage. Or it will be your turn the following weeks. Indeed, the last round of payments will be made the week of January 23 to 27. What give you a little time before seeing this amount appear in your bank account. Patience…
