Enem 2023: candidates who live more than 30 km from the test location will be able to retake the exam

Students from all over Brazil protested on social media following the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) announced the test locations for the National High School Exam (Enem) 2023. According to the regulations, candidates must take the test in a distance of up to 30 kilometers from the address stated in the registration.

According to the complaints, many of those enrolled — around 50 thousand, as shown by INEP data — were sent to schools far away from their place of residence. Faced with this problem, the municipality chose to re-administer the exam on the 12th and 13th of December at points closer to the candidates’ homes harmed by the system error.

Only students allocated to schools located at a distance greater than 30 km from the address informed in the registration can request the re-application of Enem 2023. To do this, Inep will make it available on the Participant’s Page (access) a tab so that those interested in taking the test in December can submit the request for analysis by the body.

Before requesting to retake the exam, it is important to check the location assigned to you using the confirmation card, a document that can be accessed via the Internet — find out how to check where your test will take place. This sheet is not mandatory to take the exam, but Inep advises candidates to take it with them on the day of the test.

To take the exam, you must carry an identity document with a photo (RG, CNH, passport, etc.) and a black pen with a transparent tube. In addition, it is also possible to bring a light snack — such as a cracker or a sweet snack, for example — to eat during the test; You can also take water.
