The Egyptian Ministry of Endowments has determined the theme of the sermon for next Friday, September 27, 2024 AD, titled: May God exalt those of you who believe and those who are awarded degrees.
The Ministry of Endowments stated that the goal conveyed to the mosque-goers is to protect the new generation from falling out of school and to guide the mosque-goers to understand that they are extremely concerned about their children’s education and have patience with their children. It is one of the most important issues that the Qur’an focuses on and from which the words of the Great Prophet are derived. One of God’s greatest wishes for mankind is to have knowledge. The path of national progress and great strides towards knowledge and progress in all sciences and arts, while warning of the dangers of dropping out of school, directing parents to focus on education, and urging their children to learn as much as possible about science and learning.

Praise be to God, Lord of the world, who taught Adam and understood Solomon, who elevated the man of knowledge and certainty, and who made knowledge the ornament of all ages of mankind O God, enlighten our hearts and minds, enlighten us. Light of knowledge, adorn us with patience, smooth the way for understanding, lead us out of the darkness of confusion by your mercy, I testify that there is no God but God without a partner, I testify that our Lord, the joy of our hearts, The apple of our eyes, the crown on our heads, Muhammad is his servant and messenger, his purest creation and his beloved and his friend, O God, your blessings and peace be upon him and his family and their companions, and those who follow them in righteous deeds, until the Day of Judgment.

Thoughtful readers of the Book of Allah Almighty and the Sunnah of His Messenger (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) realize that one of the greatest issues dealt with by the Noble Quran is its origin. He who loves and is passionate about knowledge, who knows the value of knowledge, its glory, its nobility and splendor, and its great influence on the progress and happiness of mankind in this life, he is in the next life.
Then the illuminating prophetic statements flow into the consciousness of the Muslim people with more light calling for learning and reasoning thinking and meditation, it is encouraged, noble aspirations are moved and pure and glorious souls are attached to it. The Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “For whoever sets out on the path of seeking knowledge, God will make a way for him to heaven, and angels will lower their wings to please those who seek knowledge.”
People! May we receive these bright rays and respond to these helpful calls; so we know what Almighty God wantsWe are passionate about knowledge, eager to learn, and understand the value of knowledge, its holiness, honor, majesty, greatness, and awe! Knowledge is the most precious thing and the most cherished desire. Whoever realizes the glory of knowledge and strives for it with all his strength, you will see that he studies throughout his life and his wealth continues to increase. How difficult it is to learn.
Dear parents! Let children’s hearts be filled with love for knowledge, enthusiasm and desire for learning, and the noble value of knowledge be instilled in their consciences.Let children walk on the road of knowledge, endure the hardships of education, be patient and persistent, and let them become leaders, as the poet said:
Seek knowledge and do not be lazy, for *no good thing is far away from a lazy person.
Give up sleep and get it, for whoever knows what he wants despises what he does.
Don’t say: His master has gone* All those who have walked this road have arrived
People! Be a strong embankment and a strong fence against the calls to drop out of school that seek to destroy your children’s futures.It spreads a spirit of ignorance, poverty, illiteracy, corruption, decadence and cultural decay and aims to blame the absence of values of citizenship, loyalty and belonging to the motherland on your responsibility to your children “Each of you is a shepherd, each responsible for his own flock.”
