Last Friday, July 5th, in the packed area of the Old Municipal Slaughterhouses of Patras, the amateur theater group “Crazy and Strays” of the Cultural Association of Iteon excited the audience with the hilarious revue “Allax’ O kolies” directed by Haras Karaboulas and Andreas Katsaros, in this year’s section of the Amateur Theater Festival.
The show presented in seven different skits, framed by music, what troubles the Greek today through the prism of satire, which provided endless laughter and fun.
The texts, the arrangement of texts (from earlier reviews and satirical shows), and the selection of the music were edited by Karaboula Chara, while they performed in order of appearance: Kalantzis Mitsos, Katsaros Andreas, Antonopoulou ‘Efi, Galani Nancy, Kokkinogenis Mimi, Basilari Anna, Raphaela Basilari, Christina Tsolakou, Marios Katselis, Giorgos Katselis and Karaboula Chara.
The performance was honored with their presence and prefaced by the Municipal Councilor, member of the Cultural Committee and director of the Polyphonic Theatrical Workshop Athena Kallimani – Georgitsopoulou and the President of the Organizing Committee of the Patras Amateur Theater Festival and president of the Association for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage of Krini Mr. Tsouramanis Kostas .
