Enap and Microsoft hold Fronteiras e Tendências: Novos Rumos, about digital transformation and racism

The National School of Public Administration (ENAP), with the support of Microsoft, invite you to the lecture “Digital Transformation and Algorithmic Racism”, which is part of the initiative “Borders and Trends: New Directions”. The speaker will be specialist Lisiane Lemos, Extraordinary Secretary for Digital Inclusion and Support for Equity Policies of Rio Grande do Sul, moderated by Eleidimar Odilia Isaque da Silva, director of the Department of Digital Public Services of the Digital Government Secretariat (SGD/MGI ). The event is free and takes place in a hybrid way, in person at Enap, in Brasília (SPO Área Especial 2-A – Asa Sul – Brasília/DF) and online at canal of the institution on the video platform. Those interested can register until the 28/08th at the site da Enap.

The proposal is to discuss how technology, something so present in everyday life, is related to the fight once morest anti-black racism in Brazil. Issues such as technological manipulations (through denunciations of the manifestation of racism through algorithms), risks, immediate damages that affect and harm human dignity, reinforcing structural black dehumanization will be addressed.
