Like the executives of other provinces, the provincial directors of Haut Ogooué (south-east), have recently benefited from higher training cycles, provided by the National School of Administration (ENA) which is gradually building the capacities of executives to make the Gabonese administration more efficient.

These training sessions focused on the fundamentals of public administration. It was a question, according to Rodrigues Mikolo Banaka, Acting Director General of the ENA, “to remind the seminarians of the notions of Public Service, the General Interest and the State”.

ENA is a public establishment of an administrative nature endowed with legal personality and administrative and financial management autonomy.

The mission of this post-graduate school is to train senior design and management executives in certain public management professions, to organize continuing education and advanced training courses for administrative officers, establishment staff and public and private companies, to organize seminars, symposiums and study days in the areas of intervention of the administration.
