For three days, Ms. Forcier and her husband have been desperately trying to clean up the mess, which now looks like a real “pig sty”, but she can’t see the end of it.

“We spent a full day burning waste, but it’s far from over,” sighs the one who has just returned from vacation in the South, between two sobs.

Carole Forcier never suspected that there might be any problem with her tenants who lived in a house divided into two dwellings belonging to her.

The neighbors never complained and the rent was always paid.

But things started to go wrong at the beginning of the year, when the landlady told them that their lease would become monthly. She was then trying to sell her own house and intended to live in her rent when it was done.
