Focus: the industrial shock method
The CRPs also support the so-called industrial shock missions. This method consists of revitalizing the employment pool of territories most often presenting structural weaknesses and confronted with a cyclical “shock”. The goal is to promote their economic rebound, anticipate developments in the sectors represented and promote the emergence of tomorrow’s industries.
Thus, the 11 industrial shock missions carried out in 2021 made it possible to support 470 investment projects.
Two significant examples are the mission carried out in Rodez, whose support made it possible to direct nine projects towards the fund for accelerating industrial investments in the “Territories of industry”. The nine projects were awarded, corresponding to the creation of 215 jobs.
On the other hand, the mission carried out in the Haut-Jura, whose support made it possible to direct 13 projects towards industrial territories, 12 of which were winners, corresponding to the potential creation of 128 jobs.
Strong mobilization during the health crisis
The CRPs were essential players during the health crisis. In particular, they were strongly mobilized by the system of repayable advances and loans at subsidized rates (ARPB). This system was intended to supplement the loan guaranteed by the State (PGE) to support the cash flow of companies. 269 aids were granted to companies representing an amount of nearly 235 million euros between 2020 and 2022.
