Nazarena Vélez decided to join the gym to resume the healthy habit of exercising her body. The LAM (America) panelist celebrated on her social networks having completed a month of training to take care of her physical and mental health.

On her official Instagram account, the media shared images of her fitness routine, super proud of having managed to go to the gym. “Today I am 1 month old. In this way, Barbie Vélez’s mother took the opportunity to leave a positive message on her social networks regarding the importance of training regularly to obtain multiple benefits for her body and mind. Doctors recommend doing any type of exercise as it releases endorphins, neurotransmitters that generate feelings of well-being and reduce stress.

As often happens with many women, the panelist has had some health problems for wanting to follow the beauty standards imposed by society. For example, when she was taking her first steps in modeling, she came to take amphetamines to lose weight.

In an interview with Teleshow, he had spoken regarding the addiction to these pills: “I screwed up a lot with amphetamines. Cocaine always made me very scared, very dark. The faso does not generate anything for me. Amphetamines took over me for 10 years. I always had a war with my body: I hated myself, I looked fat, I didn’t like it, I looked cellulite. At 19 years old I was a mother and stretch marks began to appear. I always had mambo. I was only able to reconcile following Fabian’s death.”

Little by little, he left those scrolls in his head and began a process of accepting and loving himself as he is. She even posted unretouched photos of herself on the net to show her true body “I was always very mentally coiled regarding my body, but too much to the level of intoxication. I did not kill myself by chance, because God did not want it, “Nazarena assured this medium in another more recent interview.

For years, Vélez struggled to be skinny and slim, perhaps because during her childhood she received an upbringing that taught her that being fat was wrong. “As a child she was chubby and she lived bullying at school, I had a bad time. At the age of 14 I started taking laxatives to be skinnier, to belong and stop being fat… Today I am much more free from that, not completely, but much more free,” reflected the producer.

Then she advised not to talk regarding other people’s bodies because it might have negative consequences and recounted an episode she experienced with a friend: “She was the typical one who said to you as soon as you entered the house: ‘You’re skinny.’ She wore it like she was a compliment until a friend told me, ‘I’m skinnier because I have cancer.’ Then I learned from a blow to the face that you shouldn’t comment on someone else’s body, neither with good vibes nor with bad vibes ”.

Finally, the actress explained that it was not easy to make this change in mentality, since she lived for many years in her body: “Drinking a beer and having a belly come out is a whole issue because you lose work. I worked as pretty or pretending to be pretty, at least for the last few years. Thank God that I went to work in the production, because otherwise it would be an anguish. I have a lot of friends who struggle to be young and pretty.”
