Empowering Narratives: Kato Alissou’s Spellbinding Showcase ‘The Women in Parliament

Strong traditional music and dance motifs, hilarious dialogues and spicy comments through which the bitterness about the impasses in which the country finds itself, but also the hope that with our own dynamic intervention a better future can be secured, were the dominant element of the theater. performance “Women in Parliament” which was presented at 9.00 on the evening of Wednesday 11 September on the stage of the “Old Slaughterhouses” for the section of the Amateur Theater Festival.

The show was an adaptation from Aristophanes’ “Churches” and staged by the “Kato Alissou” Dance and Theater Group, directed by “Vathialos” and set by Thodoris Giannakopoulos.

He attended the event the Municipal Councilor and member of the Cultural Committee Athena Kallimanis, district councilors and the member of the Committee of the Amateur Theater Festival Kostas Tzouramanis.
