The Amazonas Air Group-GAAMA, of its Colombian Aerospace Force, continues to be present in the south of the country, encouraging education for boys, girls and young people in the different non-municipalized areas of the department of Amazonas.
On this occasion, through the Comprehensive Action Section of this Military Unit, more than a ton of school kits were transported from the capital of the country donated by the Carolina Villegas foundation and the organization “Antioquia Presente”, which They will be delivered to more than 1,900 indigenous communities that inhabit the banks of the Amazon River, in order to support the development and quality of education in this department.
This movement was made in two aircraft belonging to the Military Transport Air Command-CATAM, a C-40 type aircraft and a Casa C-295. Once at the Amazonas Air Group, they were delivered to the corresponding entities for distribution.
It should be noted that these school kits, which consist of notebooks, pencils, pens, colón, erasers, pencil sharpeners and other materials.
