Empowering Communities: Ciudad del Plata Unveils New Social Initiatives

Inauguration of social works in Ciudad del Plata, San José

Next Friday, October 11, the Minister of Transportation and Public Works, José Luis Falero, and the Undersecretary, Juan José Olaizola, will inaugurate infrastructure works at the Association to Help Children and the Elderly (AS.ANA), Social Club and Deportivo Porvenir, in Ciudad del Plata, and Club Atlético San Lorenzo, in San José de Mayo.

At the ASANA club, the multifunction space was covered and a riding arena was built at the Al Tranco Equine Therapy Center; while a picnic area was built at the Porvenir del Plata Club. On the other hand, at the San Lorenzo Club, a floating sports floor was installed, LED lighting was installed, and the locker rooms and office were repaired.

The Social Agreements program, led by the National Directorate of Architecture of the MTOP, is a non-refundable economic support tool, intended for social institutions throughout the country for the repair and expansion of their facilities.
