Three days following the announcement of the liquidation of their company, the employees of Clestra in Illkirch-Graffenstaden (Bas-Rhin) gathered in front of the factory on Friday. They had a barbecue. The 125 employees of the Alsatian site now wish to be heard by management in the context of negotiations on severance pay.

The Paris commercial court on Tuesday, October 3, declared the judicial liquidation of the office partition manufacturer. Management filed for bankruptcy at the end of September, citing financial difficulties and pointing the finger at employees who observed a three-month strike on the Alsatian site.

The CGT of Clestra announced on Friday that it had contacted lawyers to try legal recourse once morest the company’s directors.
