Employee Arrested for Stealing Startup Cards at Renault Factory: Investigations and Updates

The site had been under surveillance for several weeks to shed light on the mysterious disappearance of startup cards. Friday, December 29 in the evening, an employee of the Renault factory, in Flins-sur-Seine (Yvelines), was arrested at his workplace thanks to the intervention of the security agent, who had just spotted his behavior in front of his video surveillance screen.

The cameras trace the entire progress of the 39-year-old employee: he enters the site, steals start-up cards by the dozens, puts them in bags and stores them in the trunk of his car. Alerted by the security agent around 7:30 p.m., the police discovered nearly 250 cards during the arrest of the thief.
