Empire in Jeopardy: Diddy’s Tight-Knit Crew Entangled in a Web of Allegations

Lawyer Tony Buzbee did not name any names, but confirmed in an interview with the portal “TMZ.com” that well-known celebrities were among them. The allegations against Combs include sexual assault and abuse, including of minors.

“Many people allowed it”

According to the Houston-based law firm, the crimes have mostly taken place at parties or events in New York and Los Angeles since 1991. These were well attended, said Buzbee. “Many people observed this going on, many people allowed it to happen, said nothing, did not intervene, perhaps even benefited from it.” They are now the focus.

The law firm is in contact with the accused and is trying to reach out-of-court settlements. In some cases these have already been achieved. If this fails, the lawyers would file lawsuits and “vigorously pursue” the cases.

In custody for 3 weeks

The 54-year-old Combs, who was one of the most successful rappers in the world in recent decades with hits like “I’ll Be Missing You” and “Bad Boy For Life”, has been in custody for three weeks. He is accused of human trafficking, organized crime and other crimes. There are also already several civil lawsuits alleging sexual abuse. Combs denies the allegations.
